What is CVE-2026-86320?
A security flaw exists in Flatpak-Builder due to improper handling of Git hooks. When the 'use-git-am' option is enabled, malicious source code with a Git post-applypatch hook can lead to the execution of arbitrary code on the build host. This vulnerability allows an attacker to leverage the permissions of the user running Flatpak-Builder, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data compromise.
