What is CVE-2026-86423?

ImageMagick versions prior to 7.1.2-30 and 6.9.x earlier than 6.9.13-55 are susceptible to a heap-use-after-free vulnerability within the GetList method of PerlMagick. An attacker could exploit this flaw by crafting a specific call to the GetList method, potentially resulting in application crashes and causing denial of service conditions.
