CVE-2026-86562
7.8HIGH
What is CVE-2026-86562?
A vulnerability has been identified in DPDK's lib/vhost, where the handling of control-queue descriptors is susceptible to a Time-of-Check Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) double-fetch situation. This flaw can potentially allow an attacker to inject malicious content leading to a heap buffer overflow during operations in the VDUSE control-queue handler, thus compromising the integrity of the affected system.
