What is CVE-2026-86720?

The AVideo platform has a significant authorization flaw that allows authenticated users with streaming capabilities to gain unauthorized access to other users' restream destinations. This vulnerability arises from a failure to validate ownership of the 'live_restreams_id' parameter in the 'resendRestreamer.json.php' file. By manipulating this identifier, an attacker can redirect live streams to any configured destination, such as YouTube, Facebook, or Twitch, using the victim's credentials. This presents a serious risk to the integrity and privacy of streamers' content, facilitating potential hijacking of their streams.
