What is CVE-2026-86758?

The Snipe-IT application prior to version 8.7.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability affecting the CSV export and API index endpoints. This flaw allows authenticated users with insufficient permissions (licenses.view) to access sensitive product license keys. Attackers can exploit this by downloading all license keys in bulk via CSV exports or by identifying valid license keys through discrepancies in API responses. Immediate updates to version 8.7.0 or later are recommended to mitigate this exposure.
