What is CVE-2026-86759?

An authorization vulnerability in Snipe-IT versions prior to 8.7.0 allows authenticated users to exploit the POST /hardware/history endpoint. This oversight enables users to reassign assets without proper authorization and manipulate audit logs by uploading a crafted CSV file.
