What is CVE-2026-86930?

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability in FileMaker Server for Linux can be exploited by an attacker by uploading a specially crafted image file to a container field. This exploit allows unauthorized disclosure of process memory during the thumbnail generation process in FileMaker WebDirect. The issue has been addressed in the recent update to FileMaker Server version 26.0.3.
