What is CVE-2026-87744?

A flaw in Quarkus REST Data Panache allows attackers to bypass security controls on generated endpoints. When developers customize operations using @MethodProperties without re-declaring security roles, the code generator may remove class-level security requirements. This oversight can lead to endpoints that permit unauthenticated access, putting sensitive information at risk and enabling unauthorized modifications to the data.
