What is CVE-2026-87923?

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been detected in the Rizwan17 inventory-management-system, particularly in the file includes/DBOperation.php used by the List Handler component. By manipulating the parameters such as category_name, brand_name, or product_name, an attacker can execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's browser. This exploitation is achievable remotely, posing a significant risk to users. Although the project team has been notified of this issue, no patch or response has been issued as of yet, leaving the system vulnerable to potential attacks.
