What is CVE-2026-87995?

Open WebUI, a versatile self-hosted AI platform, contains a vulnerability in versions 0.8.11 to 0.11.0 that allows an authenticated user with access to a shared terminal server to execute scripts through a terminal port preview. The iframe sandbox in 'src/lib/components/chat/FileNav/PortPreview.svelte' did not adequately restrict script execution, exposing users to potential account takeover. This vulnerability is addressed in version 0.11.1, which mitigates the risk of unauthorized script execution from the previewed terminal content.
