What is CVE-2026-88279?

The GeoVision GV-LPC2211 V1.13 is susceptible to a stack overflow vulnerability in its ONVIF CreateUsers functionality. The flaw occurs when oversized username or password values are copied into fixed stack fields, which can lead to an authenticated administrator unintentionally crashing the ONVIF worker. This situation can disrupt service and may pose a security risk to environments using this device.
