What is CVE-2026-88391?

The Northstar trading platform by Dromara exposes a significant vulnerability where the H2 Console is enabled without proper authentication controls. Specifically, the authentication interceptor only protects the /northstar/** path, leaving the /h2-console endpoint accessible to potential attackers. This allows anyone with network access to exploit the system, as the embedded H2 database operates with default credentials (SA) or an empty password. As a result, attackers can execute arbitrary system commands, posing a critical risk to system integrity and confidentiality.
