What is CVE-2026-88876?

AVideo's PlayerSkins plugin features a critical flaw that allows unauthorized users to bypass password protection on video sources. This issue arises when attackers exploit the missing authorization check in the seo.php file, enabling them to retrieve sensitive media content, including protected videos, by simply calling the getSources() function with a valid video ID. As a result, sensitive video files can be accessed without authentication, posing a significant risk to media security.
