What is CVE-2026-89034?

The TCH QRing smart ring model R20_B006, running firmware RT09R20_1.00.00_250318, exhibits a significant vulnerability that allows attackers within range to exploit the unsecured Nordic UART Service. This flaw permits nearby attackers to connect to the device without requiring any form of pairing, authentication, or user consent. Through this exploit, unauthorized individuals can gain access to sensitive functionalities, such as monitoring live heart rate data, checking battery levels, and collecting stored historical information on heart rate and blood oxygen levels, all without the knowledge or approval of the user.
