What is CVE-2026-89239?

The WWBN AVideo application has a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in its showAlertMessage() function. This issue arises when the application improperly sanitizes the Referer header, allowing attackers to manipulate this header. By inserting specially crafted input that terminates JavaScript comments, an attacker can inject arbitrary JavaScript code into the site’s context. This vulnerability poses significant risks as it can be exploited to execute malicious scripts for users who visit the site from compromised pages.
