AVideo by WWBN contains a vulnerability in the user donation link profile field, enabling stored cross-site scripting attacks. The flaw allows authenticated users to inject malicious JavaScript through the donation link. When the CustomizeUser option 'allowDonationLink' is enabled, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability by updating their profile, leading to the execution of JavaScript in the browsers of those who view their videos, including administrators. This vulnerability can be exploited to compromise sensitive information as it bypasses basic validation checks, posing a serious risk to users engaging with the affected functionality.
