CVE-2026-89260
Key Information:
Badges
What is CVE-2026-89260?
MoguBlog versions up to 6.2 are susceptible to an XML external entity injection vulnerability found in the WeChat callback handler. The WechatRestApi.index() method allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate request bodies and take advantage of the flawed SignUtil.xmlToMap() implementation, which leverages an unprotected dom4j SAXReader without restrictions on DTD or external entity declarations. By injecting DOCTYPE declarations, an attacker could read sensitive local files or trigger unauthorized outbound HTTP requests, with potentially harmful data reflected in error responses.
Affected Version(s)
MoguBlog 0 <= 6.2
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
