Badges
What is CVE-2026-89261?
The MoguBlog platform, specifically versions up to 6.2, exposes critical Elasticsearch index management endpoints via the mogu_search service without any authentication checks. This oversight allows remote attackers to manipulate the blog's search index in harmful ways, such as deleting entire search indices, altering their contents, or injecting malicious entries. By exploiting these unsecured endpoints, attackers can disrupt the functionality of blog search features, potentially leading to incorrect search results or complete unavailability of search capabilities.
Affected Version(s)
MoguBlog 0 <= 6.2
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
