Improper Key Handling in JWKS by Eclipse Keypont Product
CVE-2026-89313

6.3MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-89313?

A flaw in the JwksTrustStore.Get function of Eclipse Keypont’s implementation allows for improper handling of JSON Web Key Sets (JWKS). When a requested key ID (kid) is absent, instead of signaling an error, the function may return the last key parsed alongside a nil error response. This behavior can lead to unintended security risks by providing a potentially invalid key where a valid absence of key would be expected, compromising the integrity of the key management process.

Affected Version(s)

Eclipse KeyPont - GOSE 0.7.5 <= 0.13.0-rc1

Eclipse KeyPont - GOSE 0 < 1.0.0-rc4
