What is CVE-2026-89314?

A performance issue in Eclipse KeyPONT arises from the jwkFields.CheckConsistency mechanism, which can be exploited through a maliciously crafted JSON Web Key Set (JWKS). This vulnerability occurs when duplicate key_ops entries are detected, leading to a computational cost that escalates quadratically relative to the number of entries. Consequently, processing a moderate-sized hostile JWKS document can monopolize a CPU core for several seconds, adversely affecting system performance and responsiveness.

Affected Version(s)

Eclipse KeyPont - GOSE 0.7.3 <= 0.13.0-rc1
