What is CVE-2026-90957?

MISP versions up to 2.5.45 are susceptible to a vulnerability that allows uploaded SVG images to be served inline without adequate browser sandbox restrictions. This enables potential execution of embedded scripts when the SVG is accessed directly or embedded in documents. Attack vectors include SVG logos or images associated with event reports. Even if SVG uploads are later disabled, previously uploaded malicious SVG files can pose ongoing risks, as their scripts would execute in the context of the user's session on the MISP origin.
