What is CVE-2026-91204?

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Apache Roller version 6.1.5 permits remote attackers to exploit improperly neutralized input during web page generation. This vulnerability enables the storage of malicious comments containing javascript: URI links. If HTML is enabled in comments, users clicking on these links may inadvertently execute the embedded scripts in their browser, affecting site visitors. To mitigate the risk, it is recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller version 6.1.6 or later, which adds restrictions to allow only safe http, https, and mailto URIs in links.
