What is CVE-2026-91846?

A vulnerability in MISP allows malicious users to create collection elements from UUIDs without adequate authorization checks. This issue arises because collection elements store UUIDs that, when resolved, may refer to private objects the user shouldn't access. As a result, users could inadvertently expose sensitive data from other organizations, particularly in event collections. The fix introduces comprehensive authorization checks for UUIDs during both the creation and addition of collection elements, ensuring that only users with the correct permissions can access the related objects.
