What is CVE-2026-91956?

FreeRDP, prior to version 3.31.0, is susceptible to an out-of-bounds read due to a flaw in the URBDRC channel's func_get_ep_desc function. This vulnerability arises when the RDP server sends a crafted SELECT_CONFIGURATION message, leading to improper indexing into interface arrays based on position instead of the correct protocol field InterfaceNumber. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read beyond allocated heap memory, potentially causing the client to crash.
