What is CVE-2026-91961?

FreeRDP prior to version 3.31.0 is vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack due to improper validation of the OutputBufferSize in the URBDRC control-transfer request path. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted control-transfer request from a malicious RDP server, setting the OutputBufferSize to an excessive value (65536). This leads to a reachable assertion that causes the client process to terminate, interrupting the service.
