What is CVE-2026-91979?

Vikunja versions prior to 2.6.0 exhibit a vulnerability wherein the archiving process during data imports is not adequately restricted. This oversight permits authenticated users to upload compressed files that decompress into excessively large sizes, consuming significant server memory and disk space. As a result, this can lead to server resource exhaustion and potential application crashes.
