What is CVE-2026-92092?

A flaw was identified in the OpenShift Ansible installer where the run script downloads and executes remote inventory and dynamic scripts without proper integrity verification. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker, through a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack, to potentially substitute these scripts with malicious executables. If executed, these could run with the installer’s user ID (UID), thereby granting full cluster-provisioning privileges and leading to arbitrary code execution within the system.
