Authentication Flaw in Kiloview E3 NDI Encoder Firmware
CVE-2026-92450
8.7HIGH
What is CVE-2026-92450?
The Kiloview E3 NDI encoder firmware contains a critical authentication flaw whereby session JSON Web Tokens are signed using a static HMAC-SHA256 secret. This secret is hardcoded into the firmware and is the same across all devices. As a result, an attacker with access to the firmware can extract this secret and generate valid session tokens, including those that provide administrative access, without needing valid credentials. This vulnerability poses a significant risk as it allows unauthorized users to perform privileged actions on the device.
