What is CVE-2026-92583?

AVideo versions up to 29.0 are vulnerable to a race condition in the enforceRateLimit() function, which fails to increment rate limit counters atomically. This flaw allows malicious users to bypass established rate limits, including the protection mechanisms against login brute-force attacks. By sending multiple concurrent requests, attackers can exceed the defined limit of 30 login attempts within 5 minutes, which poses a significant risk to account security.

Affected Version(s)

AVideo 0 <= 29.0
