What is CVE-2026-92838?

The GeoVision GV-Remote E-Map desktop application is susceptible to a DLL hijacking vulnerability, where it improperly loads dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) from an unsafe search path. This flaw allows local attackers with write access to place malicious DLLs in directories searched before the legitimate ones. Successful exploitation may lead to arbitrary code execution within the context of the GV-Remote E-Map process, potentially compromising user systems.
