What is CVE-2026-9367?

A security vulnerability has been identified within the NousResearch hermes-agent that allows for OS command injection through the 'detect_dangerous_command' function located in the 'approval.py' file of the terminal_tool component. This vulnerability permits an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the affected system remotely. Although the issue has been publicly disclosed, the vendor has yet to respond to the notification regarding this security concern.
