What is CVE-2026-9368?

A vulnerability exists in the NousResearch hermes-agent's environment variable handler located in the execute_code function of tools/code_execution_tool.py. This flaw allows for sandbox escape due to improper handling of environment variables, which can be exploited remotely. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code, posing significant risks to system integrity.
