What is CVE-2026-93736?

Mealie versions prior to 3.21.0 are susceptible to a significant information disclosure vulnerability. The system fails to properly validate user ownership within its ratings and favorites endpoints. This flaw enables authenticated attackers to access any user's recipe ratings and favorites by manipulating user IDs within the URL path. As a result, sensitive information including private recipe identifiers, rating values, and favorite flags from other users across various groups or households can be compromised, leading to potential privacy breaches. Users are advised to upgrade to version 3.21.0 or later to mitigate this risk.
