What is CVE-2026-93993?

Mistral Vibe versions prior to 2.25.5 are susceptible to a remote code execution vulnerability that arises during the worktree creation process. This flaw allows attackers to craft a malicious git post-checkout hook within the repository, which can execute arbitrary shell commands. These commands will run with the privileges of the user operating Vibe, potentially compromising the system. Users are advised to update to version 2.25.5 or later to mitigate this risk.
