What is CVE-2026-94001?

A security flaw has been identified in the Admin REST API of Keycloak, the open-source identity and access management platform. Specifically, the endpoint responsible for deleting user credentials fails to enforce stringent checks on reset-password permissions. This oversight allows a delegated administrator, who should not have the capacity to reset passwords, to inadvertently delete a user's password credentials. Consequently, affected users may find themselves unable to log in, posing significant risks to access control and user management.
