What is CVE-2026-94277?

An HTML injection vulnerability in MISP allows an authenticated user with the 'perm_galaxy_editor' permission to craft a galaxy name containing arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. This is a critical concern as the name is rendered directly into the HTML output without any encoding. As a result, when another user accesses the galaxy matrix statistics view, the embedded scripts execute in their browser, which can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, and unauthorized actions within the application. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to MISP version 2.5.47 or later to mitigate this vulnerability.
