What is CVE-2026-94482?

Next.js, a well-known React framework for building full-stack web applications, is susceptible to a performance vulnerability that can lead to excessive CPU consumption. This issue arises when crafted requests are made targeting App Router applications that incorporate at least one Server Action. Such requests can block the processing of subsequent requests, leading to performance degradation and potential service disruptions. Notably, applications utilizing the Pages Router or those without Server Actions remain unaffected by this vulnerability. The problem has been addressed in versions 15.5.28 and 16.4.1 of Next.js, and users are encouraged to update to these versions to mitigate risks.

Affected Version(s)
