What is CVE-2026-94646?

An uncaught exception vulnerability has been identified in the Apache Thrift nodejs bindings. This flaw arises from improper validation of specified input quantities, leading to the potential modification of object prototype attributes, a type of vulnerability known as prototype pollution. As a result, this could allow an attacker to manipulate the behavior of the application and potentially execute arbitrary code. Users of Apache Thrift are highly encouraged to update to version 0.25.0 or later to mitigate this risk.
