What is CVE-2026-95273?

A path traversal vulnerability exists in dgtlmoon changedetection.io, particularly in the static_content function of the visual_selector_data component located in changedetectionio/flask_app.py. This flaw allows attackers to manipulate the filename argument, potentially leading to unauthorized access to files on the server. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely, increasing the risk for users. Despite early notification, the vendor has not responded to this issue. Differentiating from another vulnerability, CVE-2026-25527, which addressed a separate parameter within the same function, this issue remains critical for users running affected versions up to 0.60.7.
