What is CVE-2026-95679?

A logic error in MISP's RequestHandlerComponent allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit malformed XML requests. This vulnerability results from improper precedence in PHP operators within the Xml::build() functionality, which fails to enforce read conditions correctly. As a result, a crafted POST request containing a bare HTTPS URL can invoke the server to make outbound requests, potentially revealing sensitive internal functionality or conducting reconnaissance on internal and external endpoints. This poses significant risks to any deployment of MISP with accessible cspReport endpoints and network access to other HTTPS services.
