A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Sangoma Switchvox SMB Edition 8.3. This vulnerability occurs within the voicemail notification template functionality, specifically affecting the submit_modify_voicemail_template endpoint. The lack of proper HTML content sanitization allows authenticated users to inject malicious JavaScript via the template_text parameter. This injected script can then be stored on the server and rendered to unsuspecting users, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data exposure.
