What is CVE-2026-96804?

The MLflow statsmodel flavor from Databricks is vulnerable due to a lack of proper security controls in the _load_model() function. Versions 2.1.0 through 3.14.0 fail to enforce the MLFLOW_ALLOW_PICKLE_DESERIALIZATION=False setting, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code through specially crafted MLmodel artifacts. This oversight poses significant risks to systems using these versions, enabling remote exploitation that can compromise application integrity and security.
