What is CVE-2026-97359?

HFS2 versions 2.4.0 and earlier are susceptible to a template injection vulnerability located in the multipart upload handler. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the host system by embedding malicious template syntax within a crafted filename. By manipulating the filename to include a closing template quoting sequence followed by an exec macro, attackers can bypass authorization checks and gain unauthorized access to execute code remotely.
