What is CVE-2026-97677?

In versions 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 of IBM Langflow, an authenticated flow author has the ability to manipulate files by writing attacker-controlled content into any directory that is writable by the service account. This exploitation circumvents the platform's safeguards that isolate local file access. Additionally, the creation of a specially crafted on-disk index allows the attacker to read the contents of files within the application's data directory, which may include sensitive configuration files, secrets, or database files.

Affected Version(s)

Langflow OSS 1.0.0 <= 1.12.2
