What is CVE-2011-10041?

The Uploadify plugin for WordPress, up to version 1.0, is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to inadequate file type validation in the process_upload.php script. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to upload malicious files to the affected WordPress site. By exploiting this weakness, attackers can potentially execute arbitrary code by placing executable files in publicly accessible directories, compromising the security of the website.
