Cross-Site Request Forgery Vulnerability in PlugNedit Adaptive Editor for WordPress
CVE-2015-9422
What is CVE-2015-9422?
The PlugNedit Adaptive Editor plugin prior to version 6.2.0 for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) exploit. Attackers can leverage this vulnerability to manipulate parameters in a request, such as 'plugnedit_width', 'pnemedcount', 'PlugneditBGColor', 'PlugneditEditorMargin', or 'plugneditcontent', through the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php endpoint. By executing a crafted request, an attacker may inject arbitrary scripts into the site, potentially allowing for further exploitation and unauthorized actions by unsuspecting users.
