What is CVE-2016-10959?
The Estatik plugin for WordPress, prior to version 2.3.1, contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users to upload arbitrary files through a CSRF exploit via the es_media_images[] parameter. This can lead to potential malicious file uploads, enabling an attacker to compromise the site or execute arbitrary scripts, thereby posing significant security risks. Website administrators are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this issue.
