What is CVE-2016-10961?
The Colorway theme for WordPress, prior to version 3.4.2, is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability through the contactName parameter. This weakness allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by users, potentially compromising user sessions, stealing sensitive information, or redirecting users to harmful sites. Website administrators are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the theme to mitigate this security risk.
