What is CVE-2017-13315?
A vulnerability exists in the handling of parcel data within the DcParamObject.java file of the Android platform. This issue arises from a mismatch in the expected write size, allowing for a loophole that enables a local user to bypass permissions. Consequently, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to initiate actions with elevated system privileges, bypassing standard user access controls. The exploitation does not require any user interaction, thereby increasing its risk potential for affected devices.
