What is CVE-2018-1002009?
A reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Arigato Autoresponder and Newsletter plugin version 2.5.1.8 for WordPress. This flaw allows an attacker with administrative privileges to exploit the vulnerability by sending a crafted GET request that includes malicious JavaScript code in the email variable of the unsubscribe.html.php file. When processed, this code can be executed by the victim’s browser, resulting in potential exposure of sensitive information and a compromise of user accounts.
